All searches expire 90 days after being created or extended.
Saved searches can be extended within 2 weeks of the search expiration date. You will receive various notifications when a search is about to expire.
What notifications will I receive?
In the Recent Activity Menu:
- You will receive a notification in the Recent Activity menu
of searches due to expire in 2 weeks.
In individual Contact Cards:
- The searches tab in a Contact Card will let you know when searches saved for that contact are about to expire.
Via email Notification:
- A notice will be included in the Recent Activity email you receive each day. The expiry notice will be provided in red text for any searches that are about to expire, like this:
On the Dashboard/Home Page:
- If your searches are due to expire in 7 days or less, an alert will be provided on the top left-hand corner of the REALM Dashboard
How do I extend expiring searches?
You may extend all expiring searches identified in the Alerts Section of the Dashboard/Home page by clicking Extend all expiring searches.
To extend Saved Searches for individual contacts, click on the Contacts tab, and choose the relevant client card (i.e., yourself or the client/team a search is saved for).
Click on the Searches tab.
If the search is marked as due to expire or appears as expired, select the Kabob Menu to the far right of the Search label and select Extend. The search becomes active for an additional 90 days.
TIP: If a saved search has expired, you can easily reactivate it. Just find the search at the bottom of your list of saved searches under the Inactive or Expired Header. Then, follow the same steps as you would for any active saved search – click on the Kabob Menu (3 dots) and select extend.
