REALM offers a variety of Default Columns to choose from to view your results, which will provide different information.
You can also create and save your own custom column sets.
Default Column sets offered by REALM:
- REALM Generic
- Freehold Available
- Freehold Unavailable
- Condo & Other Available
- Condo & Other Unavailable
- Commercial Available
- Commercial Unavailable
To customize your own column set, follow these steps:
If needed, change your layout to Table or Map + Table
- Click the Columns button, and a list of the defaults will appear (depending on the filters used, determine which column set you can see).
- Where the checkmark is placed indicates which column set is currently being used.
- Select one of the REALM defaults, and your results will reload with the columns and data.
- If you want to create your own, scroll down the menu and click Customize or New
- Selecting Customize will preload the columns you are currently using. Selecting New will provide a blank window with no columns seledted.
- Give your new column set a name if you want to save it and use it again. Enter the name in the top left corner.
- Choose the Conditions needed for this column set (Freehold, Available, Unavailable, etc.). This is important because the selection will determine when you can use the column set. If a custom column set is created for condo searches only, it will not be visible when the search is set to find freehold listings.
- To add columns, select Add a column from the bottom left corner
- Once all your columns are added, you can further customize your column set by:
- Using the Hamburger menu
to move sections
- Delete
columns you do not want
- Change the column name under Label
- Change how the data is aligned in the column under Align
- Depending on the column, you change the Format
(i.e., Date, Currency)
- If you want multiple columns to be sorted in ascending or descending order, you can use the
Multi-Level Sort (located after the Add a Column section).
- Using the Hamburger menu
- Select Save from the bottom right corner of the window. You will be returned to your search, and your customized column set, containing the filtered search results, will populate.
- If you do not want to save the column set as you are only planning to use it this one time, you can select Use Without Saving
To use a column set in the future, select the Columns menu button and select the saved Column Set from the menu.
