Have you received notifications or an alert that a client(s) or you have unsubscribed from REALM emails?
Due to current regulations, consumer protections, and various client mail server technologies, undelivered emails—marked as unsubscribed—are increasing. REALM helps you identify when this happens.
Here are some reasons why your client's email may be undelivered:
- Client unsubscribed.
- Client server spam filter has identified the email as spam, causing the recipient to be unsubscribed to prevent further unwanted communications.
- The client has unsubscribed to another REALM realtor and, in doing so, has prevented all email from our servers from being sent to that client. This would also occur if the unsubscribed action was a result of a link scan mentioned in the next point.
- Client-server antivirus scan and link scanners may have automatically clicked the unsubscribe as they inspect links in emails for malicious behavior without the client's knowledge.
Here is what you can do about it.
Your client simply needs to use our quick and easy resubscribe process!
From the unsubscribed email address, send a message to resubscribe@em.realmmlp.ca
The message can have any subject line and message body. When the email is received by us, our messages start delivering to their address again.
NOTE: After the re-subscribe email is sent, we suggest that your clients mark our email address notifications@em.realmmlp.ca as a safe sender to prevent further issues.
For your convenience, there are 2 additional methods available to resubscribe an email address.
1. From any email notification from REALM:
If you or a client has unsubscribed from REALM emails in error, you can simply click the "Unsubscribe" link in any REALM email to be directed to the resubscribe page.
2. Using the Resubscribe Button in your REALM Profile:
Anyone can resubscribe to Realm email notifications by logging into their account and accessing their account settings.
CLIENTS:
1. From the REALM Dashboard, clients who use REALM can click the Resubscribe button
On rare occasions, Realtors' email addresses can also be suppressed.
If you are receiving a notification that you are unsubscribed or your emails are bouncing back:
Log in to REALM, select Notifications, and choose the Resubscribe button.
Canada's anti-spam legislation (CASL) requires express consent from every individual on an email list. Therefore, individuals who have unsubscribed from our emails must re-subscribe to provide documented proof that they wish to receive REALM communications.
