Did you know that you can search for listings using the REALM Map? To begin a map search, select Search from the REALM menu bar.
To search by map, switch to the Map view using the Layout button.
The map search function offers useful tools to help you find the best listings for your clients:
- On the left side of the map, use the zoom-in (+ icon) and zoom-out (- icon) functions to adjust the zoom level (you can also use your mouse or trackpad).
- If location settings are enabled on your device, click the Show your current location
icon to centre the map on your current location.
- To search for a specific location outside your current area, use the Jump to Location
icon. This feature allows you to search by:
-
- Landmark
- Specific address (including the city/town)
- Intersection
-
- Use the Places of Interest button
to load amenities in the area of interest, such as parks, places of worship, and grocery stores.
- Use Toggle Measure Mode to calculate the distance from a property to a place of interest!
- If you would like to see properties within a custom boundary, use the Toggle Draw Mode buttons to draw a shape, Polygon (desktop only), or Circle on the map.
-
- TIP: Toggling a draw mode will temporarily remove the Listings pins from your map.
-
- Use the Filters at the top left of the window to narrow your search further or to include other important property features.
- Use the Map Layers
button to switch between the Satellite and Road Map, to view School or Heat Maps, or to overlay other PropTX mapping displays.
TIP: If you have made a mistake or want to start over, don't worry! Simply click the Clear button at the top of the screen or choose Reset to Default to return to your default search settings.
